BIO Katherine Towler completed an M.A. in writing at Johns Hopkins and an M.A. in English literature at Middlebury College. She has been awarded fellowships to Yaddo and the Virginia Center for Creative Arts, and received the George Bennett Fellowship at Phillips Exeter Academy. A freelance writer, she serves as an editor for The Mars Hill Review. She lives in New Hampshire with her husband. Snow Island is her first novel.
